Following Historic Season, St. Louis Shock Announces Multi-Year Partnership with Two Men and a Garden

St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis Shock is proud to announce a new partnership with Two Men and a Garden.  The company is known for its handcrafted, small-batch salsa and pickle products made with fresh whole ingredients. This collaboration will bring delicious, co-branded products to pickleball fans while celebrating the shared values of quality, community, and innovation through event activations in the greater St. Louis ecosystem.

Founded in 2006 by two St. Louis neighbors who merged their backyard gardens, Two Men and a Garden has grown into a local favorite, producing tens of thousands of jars of wholesome salsa and fresh garden products every year, and has now achieved national scale through multiple well known retailers nationwide. The company’s commitment to small-batch production using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients ensures that “Every Jar’s a Star!”

The St. Louis Shock is the youngest and most energetic team in Major League Pickleball (MLP). A fan-favorite across the pickleball ecosystem, the team capped off an incredible season with a bronze medal finish in the Major League Pickleball postseason playoffs, following a second place finish in the regular season. The Shock fell to the eventual league champions, the Dallas Flash, in a closely contested semi-final match. The team’s 2024 season has fueled momentum into an even bigger 2025 season, when the Shock will return a core of some of the best players in professional pickleball. With growing success on the court and rapid expansion off it—including exciting new partnerships and community initiatives—the Shock continues its pursuit of greatness as the north star of MLP, having now announced three corporate partners in the last month alone.

Key Aspects of the Partnership Include:

  • Co-Branded Products: A special co-branded Shock and Two Men and a Garden product will be created and sold at retail outlets, giving pickleball fans a unique taste of the partnership and growing awareness for both organizations nationwide.
  • Event Activations: Two Men and a Garden will engage directly with fans through on-site activations at St. Louis Shock events and community gatherings including tournaments, DUPR rating sessions, watch parties, and more.
  • Co-Branded Giveaways: Unique co-branded Shock and Two Men and a Garden items will be distributed at Shock and community events, further connecting fans with this exciting partnership.

"We are thrilled to partner with the St. Louis Shock, who are proving they can win both on- and off-court. The Shock share our passion for the St. Louis community and we are looking forward to unique activations with the most electric brand in pickleball," said Joel Austin, Founder and CEO of Two Men and a Garden. "This partnership allows us to bring our love of handcrafted, fresh products to an even broader audience while supporting the incredible growth of pickleball in St. Louis. We’re ecstatic for the opportunities ahead."

This announcement marks the third corporate partnership inked by the St. Louis Shock in the past two weeks, highlighting the team’s rapid growth and increasing influence in the business of pickleball – the fastest growing sport in the country.

"The addition of Two Men and a Garden to our growing roster of partners underscores the momentum the Shock is building," said Andrew Haines, Chief Operating Officer of the St. Louis Shock. "This collaboration brings together two brands that value quality, competition, creativity, and community, and we can’t wait to see the impact it will have for our fans and the pickleball community."

The partnership will kick off with a series of events and activations in the coming months, including the launch of the co-branded product.
