Major League Pickleball Announces Vulcan as League’s Official Ball

All MLP League and Team Events to Use VPRO FLIGHT Ball,
Beginning at This Week’s Vulcan MLP Salt Lake City by Margaritaville in Utah

Major League Pickleball (MLP by Margaritaville) today announced that Vulcan Sporting Goods Co. has been named the league’s official ball, supplying the VPRO FLIGHT at all MLP league and team events.

The partnership will begin at this week’s Vulcan MLP Salt Lake City by Margaritaville – hosted at The Picklr Kaysville, Thursday, July 25-Sunday, July 28 – with activations, including crowd giveaways and an on-site episode recording of the popular King of the Court (KOTC) podcast, co-hosted by Vulcan-sponsored pro player Tyler Loong of MLP’s Utah Black Diamonds.

The recently released “Generation 2” Vulcan VPRO FLIGHT ball was selected by MLP as the official ball after determining the design and specifications were ideal for elite play on acrylic surfaces, and it is the same ball used on the Carvana PPA Tour. The VPRO FLIGHT is available for purchase now at vulcanpickleball.com and pickleballcentral.com and it will be released to pickleball retailers everywhere beginning next month.

“It is so important to have partners with whom we can meaningfully collaborate,” said MLP Chief Executive Officer Bruce Popko. “As this process has developed, Vulcan has taken feedback from our professional players and involved them in on-going ball testing. We look forward to a great partnership starting in Utah on Thursday.”

Vulcan’s CEO Vince Signorelli adds, “we are thrilled that Major League Pickleball selected the VPRO FLIGHT as the official ball. This partnership is an important one for our sport. Our collective mission is to deliver a ball for every court and every player, and one that allows MLP pros to play their game in the most competitive and entertaining way possible.”
