St. Louis Shock Announces Heat Controller as Title Sponsor of "Shock & Awe" and Official Partner of MLP St. Louis
Leading HVAC Master Supplier Joins Defending MLP Cup Champions in Multi-Faceted Partnership
ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Shock today announced a landmark multi-year partnership with Heat Controller, one of the most respected names in the HVAC industry. Under the agreement, Heat Controller becomes the title sponsor of Shock & Awe, the team's second season of the behind-the-scenes series, and an official partner of MLP St. Louis, the team's marquee Major League Pickleball event scheduled for June 4–7, 2026 at Chaifetz Arena.
The partnership represents a significant commitment from Heat Controller to professional pickleball and to the St. Louis market, aligning the brand with the 2025 MLP Regular Season Champions and one of the fastest-growing franchises in professional sports.
As title sponsor of Shock & Awe, Heat Controller will be integrated throughout the series, which gives fans unprecedented access to the Shock organization, its players, coaches, and front office. The show reaches pickleball's most engaged national audience and is a centerpiece of the team's content strategy heading into the 2026 season.
"Heat Controller is exactly the kind of partner we want building the future of this team with us," said Andrew Haines, Chief Operating Officer of the St. Louis Shock. "They are a category leader with the kind of vision and ambition that matches where this franchise is headed. Title sponsorship of Shock & Awe and a presence at MLP St. Louis puts them in front of one of the most engaged audiences in sports. This is a real partnership, not a logo placement, and we are excited to build it together."
At MLP St. Louis, Heat Controller will activate across the four-day event at Chaifetz Arena, gaining premium brand visibility in front of thousands of live fans and a national broadcast audience.
“We’re excited to partner with the St. Louis Shock because they represent many of the things we value at Heat Controller, such as innovation, competitiveness, energy, and a commitment to building something meaningful for the long term. Pickleball is creating a level of momentum and engagement that is hard to ignore, and the Shock organization is clearly helping lead that growth in a very intentional way. What impressed us most was the vision of the organization, the professionalism of the team behind it, and the way they are connecting with fans, partners, and the broader community. We’re proud to support the Shock, MLP St. Louis, and the continued growth of the sport,” said Philip Windham, Chief Executive Officer of Heat Controller, LLC.
The partnership will be activated across the Shock's full ecosystem, including the team's professional MLP matches, the Shock & Awe series, MLP St. Louis at Chaifetz Arena, and digital and social channels reaching the Shock's industry-leading fan base.
