LOVES PARK, IL – The St. Louis Shock Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) program continued its impressive competitive debut with a strong showing at The Dink Minor League Pickleball tournament at Victory Pickleball in Loves Park, Illinois this weekend.

The Shock fielded five teams in the event, capturing three medals including two golds and one bronze across different divisions. This success adds to the program's growing medal count, which now stands at seven medals from 11 team appearances in MiLP tournaments this season.

"Our players continue to represent the Shock with tremendous skill and sportsmanship," said Andrew Haines, Chief Operating Officer of the St. Louis Shock. "The success we're seeing across multiple divisions demonstrates the depth and quality of our MiLP program."

In the DUPR 14's division, the team of Amy Wood, Tricia Burke, Kevin Burke, and Scott Vaccaro captured gold with a dominant performance throughout the bracket. The DUPR 16's division saw even more Shock success, with Sara Darling, Connie Ishii, Cooper Weseli, and Lincoln Buester securing gold, while the team of Kenzie Wilson, Hailey Burnett, Carl Breeden, and Jason Gallahue earned bronze in the same division.

The organization's commitment to MiLP competition will reach new heights at the upcoming tournament in Hendersonville, Tennessee on May 31st and June 1st, where the Shock plans to field an unprecedented 17 teams at The Dink Minor League Pickleball event at Pickleball Kingdom.
